Life insurance for women

These days, it isn't unusual for men and women to equally contribute to the family's income. Even where one parent is focused on raising children at home, our research revealed the high value of their time. For women, unpaid childcare and household tasks alone could add up to £29,535. So, whether women are focused on a successful career, raising children at home or aiming for that ideal work-life balance, their financial contribution to the household is worth thinking about.

As such, life insurance for women is an important consideration in protecting the family finances. Have you ever thought about how your loved ones would cope financially if you were to die? Who would fill the gap to help maintain the family's living standards? That’s where life insurance could help you.

Life Insurance is designed to help protect against the financial impact death could have on your family or loved ones by paying out a cash sum if you were to die while covered by the policy. The cash sum could help pay the mortgage or to help with everyday living expense.

Protecting your family is easy

Our Life Insurance premiums start from just £5 a month, depending on your own needs and circumstances. Your premiums won't go up, unless you alter your policy, so you'll always know how much you're paying. You can find out all you need to know about our Life Insurance here.

You can add Critical Illness Cover at an additional cost when taking out life insurance. It could pay out a cash sum if you're diagnosed with or undergo a medical procedure for one of the specified critical illnesses we cover during the length of your policy and survive for 14 days from diagnosis. We also offer Decreasing Life Insurance which is designed to help protect a repayment mortgage so the amount of cover reduces roughly in line with the way a repayment mortgage decreases.

Please remember that life insurance is not a savings or investment product and has no cash value unless a valid claim is made.
