Make a Pet Insurance Claim / Policy Documents

Our pet policies are no longer sold or administered.

In January 2020, Legal & General Insurance Limited (renamed Fairmead Insurance Limited) was acquired by Allianz Holdings plc. Allianz Holdings plc also own the Liverpool Victoria General Insurance Group (LV=).

As a result we no longer offer Pet Insurance policies.

Legal & General Pet Insurance policies have now been re-branded as LV= Pet Insurance (underwritten by Allianz Insurance plc).

From 10th October 2022, LV= will assess all claims.

How do I make a claim?

If you’re faced with unexpected vet bills (or any of the other situations where cover is provided) you need to know any claims you make on your policy will be assessed quickly and effectively.

LV= will assess all claims. 

  • Just download the claim form, (https://www.lv.com/pet-insurance/customer-claims)
  • Follow the instructions & return it to claims@pet.lv.co.uk
